But You Don’t Look Sick

A compassionate guide for the women who know something is wrong, even when the world tells them otherwise.

01
You’re exhausted…but still pushing through.
02
Your labs are “normal,” but you don’t feel normal.
03
You’ve been told it’s stress, anxiety, hormones, aging, burnout, or that maybe you’re just overthinking it.
04
Meanwhile, your body keeps whispering that something isn’t right.

But You Don’t Look Sick was written for the women quietly carrying chronic symptoms, invisible illness, inflammation, burnout, hormone imbalances, autoimmune struggles, nervous system overload, and the emotional weight of feeling dismissed while searching for answers.

Part personal story, part educational roadmap, and part validation,

this book explores:

  • Why so many women are struggling with chronic symptoms right now

  • The connection between stress, trauma, hormones, inflammation, gut health, and the nervous system

  • How chronic stress impacts the body over time

  • Why women are so often overlooked or misunderstood in medicine

  • And how to begin reconnecting with your body instead of constantly overriding it

It’s an invitation to feel seen, understood, and empowered with a new lens through which to view your health.

Through honest storytelling, research-backed insights, and practical reflection, Katherine Rose helps readers move away from survival mode and toward a more sustainable, compassionate way of living and healing.
