About the Guest: Nikki Candito
Nikki Candito is a high-achieving executive and chronic illness warrior. As a Vice President in her professional career, Nikki spent years pushing through symptoms, only to be sidelined by a severe Ulcerative Colitis flare-up that forced her to take a hard pauseâfour months off work and a complete lifestyle reset.
Originally misdiagnosed with IBS in 2004, Nikki later received a diagnosis of Ulcerative Pan Colitis, experiencing two major health crashes in 2011 and 2021. At her worst, she lost half her hair, struggled to function, and still felt dismissed by doctors.
Today, Nikki is learning to lead with compassionâfor herself. Her story is a powerful reminder that even the most driven among us sometimes need to stop, surrender, and start again.
